Commercial Bank – Financial Analysis – Associate

This position supports the Credit Markets group within the Commercial Bank, including both Asset Based Lending and Equipment Finance. In this position, you will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis with an emphasis on revenue, direct/indirect expenses and headcount. Key areas of focus for this position include budgeting and forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as supporting the monthly financial close. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Design management reporting packages to communicate business results in a transparent and concise manner to all constituents

Build, maintain and improve various excel-based forecasting tools

Oversee expense management initiatives

Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial reporting packages

Generate monthly, annual, and multi-year forecasting

Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required

3+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience

Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills

Extremely proficient in computer navigation. Strong Microsoft Excel, Power Point/ PitchPro and Hyperion Essbase skills required. Knowledge of Access, VBA, internal finance systems preferred (e.g., FDW/ SAP/WCP).
