Colleague Programmer/Systems Admin.- Full-Time Employee

Responsibilities
Ideal candidates will have significant Higher Education Information Technology leadership experience and specialty expertise in the technical area of Colleague ERP:

  • Effectively provisions, installs/configures, operates, and maintains systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  • Manages server and end-user application infrastructure, resolves issues as needed.
  • Proactively monitors and installs system and security patches.
  • Develops and maintains and technical architecture documentation.
  • Monitors system configuration and log files, takes preventive and/or corrective action as needed.
  • Architects, installs, and maintains data backup and disaster recovery technical processes in support of overall business continuity strategy.
  • Generates reports as needed for business and leadership review.
  • ERP project implementation and Unidata to SQL migration for Colleague
  • Infrastructure and networking knowledge is preferred
  • Understanding of systems architecture and interfaces
  • Management and supervision of technical projects

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience with Colleague – all modules, Envision, WebAdvisor, Workflow and ELF programming. UniBasic, UniQuery, UniObjects, TOOL Kit and Colleague Studio.
  • SQL Server, Unidata and Oracle relational databases and data migrations (ETL) experience
  • SQL Reporting Services experience
  • SharePoint knowledge
  • Technical knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, databases, reporting tools and web applications.
  • Systems integration, custom data imports/exports and automation with scripts and programs.
  • Demonstration of superior communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent professional references

Preferred

  • Experience at two or more colleges/universities
  • Advanced degree
