What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop and implement large scale applications
• Collaborate with fellow engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
• Build and implement distributed, highly scalable platform software

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6+ years IT, Computer Science or Engineering experience with Bachelors degree; 8 years of experience without a Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience deploying applications with Web Services protocols (HTTP, DNS, SSL, REST)
• Previous experience with IaaS cloud computing platforms (OpenStack, Google Compute Engine, Microsoft Azure)
• Previous experience with PaaS or Container Engines (Cloud Foundry, Mesos, Kubernetes)
• High comfort level with Unix (especially Linux)
• Experience with infrastructure automation such as Chef, Ansible or Puppet
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM, VMWare, XEN, LXC
• Good understanding of server hardware and experience deploying and configuring servers including IPMI/ILO, BIOS and RAID
• Experience with Load Balancing concepts and technologies using HA Proxy or F5
• Previous experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
