CLOUD ENGINEER

This position requires excellent application technical experts. We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about overseeing varieties of Cloud applications and enthusiastic about quality and truly enjoys what they do.

Primary Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

Be part of Cloud Readiness team which oversee all Cloud applications

Liaison between teams outside of SaaS

Works on new application and architecture initiatives

System configuration and deployment of applications

Document application configuration and diagram

Communicating information cross organization

Trouble-shoot technical issues for application servers

Work closely with Dev Engineering team to analyze and debug technical issues

Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud based applications

3 years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator

3 years of experience as a Microsoft Systems Engineer

3 years of experience as a Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) Administrator

2 years of experience working with VMWare or other Virtual Server Software

2 years of experience with Java-based technologies: (J2SE, J2EE, JSP, JDBC a must)

2 years of experience working with SAN or NAS storage systems (vendors: EMC, NetApp, HP, etc.)

2 years of experience working with Linux and scripting

Exposure to MongoDB, MySQL, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, and others

Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Ability and willingness to work evenings / nights on occasion.

Exposure to writing SQL scripts preferred

Exposure to automation using PowerShell and/or MS System Center preferred

Ability to lead and work in projects

Ability to communicate effectively (listening, presenting and questioning)

Positive team participation skills

Strong organizational, written and communication skills

Technical writing

Auditing

Education/Certification/License:
A BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study is preferred
