NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Cloud Developer, Phoenix, AZ to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona (US-AZ), United States (US).

NTT DATA’s flagship products include TPE, BPE, TSF, and COBOL. Customer applications have execution dependencies on the runtime provided by these software products. The ideal candidate would analyze how the applications can take advantage of Cloud environments and what changes would need to be made to either the products or the applications for an effective deployment.

NTT DATA is seeking a C/C++ Cloud Developer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. Will consider remote candidate within US with occasional travel to Phoenix office location. Candidates that live within 50 miles of the Phoenix office location are required to work in the Phoenix office

Day to Day job Duties:

• Independent development of complex product features
• Effective interaction with builds, testing, documentation and packaging teams to prepare product features for customer delivery
• Customer interaction to understand issues, defects, requirements, wish list items

Basic Qualifications:

• 12+ years software development experience
• 10+ years C/C++ programming using UNIX/Linux system functions
• 2+ years expert level knowledge of at least one Cloud technology such as Amazon Web Services, Azure or OpenStack

Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Preferences

• Experience with legacy application deployment on Cloud technologies
• Ability to understand the architecture and design of complex software products in the OLTP and batch processing space
• Experience with IBM mainframe batch and either CICS or IMS-TM online applications
• Knowledge of OLTP, JES, JCL, BMS, MFS, IMS-DB, VSAM
• Familiar with multiple UNIX and Linux flavors
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and/or Red Hat OpenStack
• Familiarity with Docker
• Worked with Subversion source code control system
• Comfortable with Java technologies
