Client Engagement Manager

The purpose of this position is to support Fluor’s E&N project, AECL, in Canada to further grow and establish project/client relationships essential to secure commercial ventures in the industry. This position is accountable for maintaining positive relationships, growing enterprise, and ensuring the best representation of the project to the Canadian nuclear marketplace.

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders

• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

• Participate in sales and marketing efforts

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience

• Proactive – goal orientated with the initiative to influence events positively and influence client for decision making

• Ability to set and maintain high standards of self performance with responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments and tasks

• Demonstration of innovation, initiative, maturity and sound judgment

• Ability to influence a group of diverse individuals, including US and Canadian citizens effectively for the growth and benefit of the project

• Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations

• In depth knowledge of AECL services and established client relationships at project and in the greater Canadian nuclear industry
