Claim Associate-Express

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?

Our claim associates contribute to the goals and overall success of the Company due to their direct contact with current and potential customers. They are located in various contact centers and handle inbound calls to review and resolve claims and ensure prompt routing of complex cases to other claim handling teams. The primary responsibilities of a Claim Associate-Express include:

• Handling inbound calls and exercising good decision-making skills to review information, issue payments and resolve claims
• Providing a remarkable customer experience
• Communicating with customers in a courteous manner using approved scripts as needed via phone or written correspondence
• Working in a collaborative team environment while meeting quality standards
• Being accountable to their team, their work, and their schedule

WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?

• Successful completion of required training programs and licensing; continuing education for licensing
• Listen and communicate clearly, professionally and empathetically
• Work from established procedures and job aids and handle multiple computer applications while helping customers on the phone
• Educate customers on the claim process
• Escalate problems or inquiries as needed
• Maintain quality, accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environment
• Prior call center or customer service experience is preferred

  FULL-TIME POSITIONS

  START DATE: June 5, 2017

  LOCATION: 909 A Street. Tacoma, WA. Candidates must be willing to relocate themselves at their expense to this location.

  Starting pay: 35,766.25/ANNUAL or $17.75/HOUR. Shift pay (including weekends) may apply. Our compensation programs are always evolving and are subject to change.

  Express Auto Claims is a dedicated, in-office workforce that supports a 24 hour and 7 days a week work environment driven by our customer demands. Current hours of operation are: M-F 3:30 AM – 9:00 PM customer time, Sat 5:30 AM – 8:00 PM customer time, Sun 5:30 AM – 7:00 PM based on customer time and are subject to change.

  Employees may be expected to work in a shift environment including irregular hours, weekends, and holidays based on workload, job requirements and customer demand. Employees’ work schedules may change based on business need and are expected to be shift flexible as business needs change. Competitive candidates may participate in pre-employment testing and phone interviews.

  TRAINING: Selected candidates will attend 7-8 weeks of MANDATORY paid training; Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

  WORK SCHEDULE: After training, full-time weekly schedules total 38:45 per week. Due to the nature of our business, flexibility in the work schedule is needed and future work schedules may change based on business needs.
