WSP has an immediate opening in our Portland office for an emerging transportation engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career working on a wide variety of transportation projects across Oregon and SW Washington.

As a key member of the project delivery team, this individual will actively contribute to the overall success of transportation infrastructure projects in the region including roadway and transit. The successful candidate will also be part of the larger WSP family, with opportunities to interact with transportation professionals in the West, across the United States, and around the world.

The primary responsibilities include performing various design tasks on transportation infrastructure projects such as preparing conceptual design exhibits, technical reports, final design drawings, cost estimates, and specifications.

Located in the heart of downtown, next to Pioneer Square and on the transit mall, the Portland office of WSP is a full-service provider of professional transportation consulting services. Our local team of experts works from the top-floor suite of the Pacific Center building with stunning 360 degree views. Easy access to transit, parking in the basement and showers and locker rooms for cyclists and runners accommodate all commuting options.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in transportation engineering (public or private sector)

Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Inroads

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline

An excellent communicator

An active team player

EIT required

Professional engineer registration for Oregon or Washington is a plus
