Civil Engineer

THE ROLE

I am now seeking SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEERS from five years or more experience post graduation of the design of local roads including drainage and flood risk for a firm of consulting engineers in the Nottingham.

You may already be chartered or working towards chartered status.

Great prospects as this fairly large sized firm is expanding.

THE CLIENT

Our client is a firm of civil engineering and transportation consulting engineers.

They are working on high value projects mainly for private developments.

They have a number of UK offices.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Degree qualified Civil Engineer with good experience of infrastructure design and CAD. You will have at least five years or more post graduate experience working for a firm of consulting engineers.

You will have gained good experience of local roads, drainage projects and flood risk etc.

You will need to have gained varied project experience as my client works on mainly on local roads for private developments plus associated drainage and flood risk assessments.

You will be ideally be familiar with common highway and drainage sections agreements including S78, S278, S104 and S185.

You should have some experience in the use of WinDes and / or ideally Civils 3D. If you have only used PDS you will still be considered.

The ideal candidate will have gained some experience of AutoCAD.

Good English is a must for report writing.

Support will be given towards becoming chartered if you are not already chartered.

£salary is very negotiable plus my client pays overtime plus provides a good pension contribution, flexitime etc.
