Chinese Marketing Associate/Intern

Job Summary

ChinaPro Marketing Partners is a tourism marketing agency with clients including 28 shopping centers all over the United States, as well as destinations such as Great Lakes USA and attractions such as Art Institute of Chicago, 360 Chicago Observatory, Entertainment Cruises, etc. We supply comprehensive marketing services from marketing strategies, travel trade outreach to social media implementation such as Weibo and WeChat management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires
• Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
• Translate materials between English and Chinese.
• Managing social media campaigns. Monitor all user-generated content
• Press release creation and distribution
• Assist in organizing promotional events, and traditional or digital campaigns
• Assist in identifying marketing strategic areas for tourism.
• Assist in following new tourism trend and taking necessary actions.
• Internship position will be involved in supporting all aspects of company administrative and marketing activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess critical and analytical thinking skills and be able to learn and respond quickly to the fast growing/changing Chinese tourist market.
• Bi-lingual and fluent in both English and Chinese
• Team players but be able to work independently and deliver high quality work against deadlines
• Professional and courteous communication skills to maintain client relations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent project management skills; assignment execution & problem-solving
• Experience with Chinese social media marketing preferred.
• Experience with tourism industry desired.
• Background in public relations desired.

Please Note:

• Marketing or Tourism Bachelor’s or Master’s degree are preferred.
• There are multiple intern and associate positions open.
• Chinese Marketing Associate is a full-time position. The Intern is required to work no less than 3 or 4 days per week
• Location: Company is based in Chicago. Must be willing to relocate.
