Children’s Services Coordinator

Pay: $15.10 per hour

Job Definition:

Coordinate, maintain and enhances the services for children in the agency’s residential programs. Solicit and plan activities and educational programs. Provide secondary training and supervision for volunteers providing support to the children’s program.

Experience/Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in social work or similar preferred. Prior experience with child development programs and community education preferred. Ability to speak Spanish desirable.Must complete WRC’s 56-hour domestic violence/ sexual assault training. Training is Tuesday Wednesday Thursday evenings approximately 6-9 pm and Saturdays all day for the month of May.

At all times demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines. At all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, clients, volunteers, supervisors and administrators..

Applicants must be able to handle emergency situations. . Must be able to sit, stand, climb stairs lift 25 pounds and complete daily cleaning tasks. Applicants should be nonjudgmental and able to work well and get along with others and supervise residents as needed. Understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault needed. Must be able to work independently and make decisions using clear judgement. Applications are available at the WRC main office front desk.
