Cash Application Specialist

The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for processing electronic and manual remittance transactions, posting complex payment and contractual adjustments to client accounts. This position is also responsible for reconciling cash transactions, third party remittances, and credit/debit card payments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Apply cash receipts on a daily basis

Identify, investigate, and correct discrepancies

Process adjustments

Provide documentation for audits

Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly reports

Reconcile accounts receivable transactions

Closing of the accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger on a monthly basis

All other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or 2 years cash application experience

Use to dealing with high volume/high dollar applications
