Capital Analyst

We are currently sourcing a (Capital Analyst) to join our team in (LBayport). The successful candidate will be required to undertake (BRIEF RESPONSIBILITIES).

Detailed Description

·

Act as a focal point regarding spending forecasts, scheduling and progress for capital projects.

·

Be particularly diligent in recognizing and reporting to the Capital Coordinator, project engineering, and others as appropriate about potential problems in any phase of the project.

Ensure that procedures and systems are integrated to track and forecast current, future, and other capital projects, and are in place and managed.

·

Support the Capital Coordinator and assist with corporate and administrative duties as required.

·

Report status of projects and forecast activities to Capital Coordinator, project engineering, and others as appropriate on an ongoing and frequent basis.

Assist in the continual improvement of the capital projects coordination processes by informing Capital Coordinator of concerns with the process, suggested improvements, etc.

Job Requirements

·

A business, business administration, finance, accounting, or other relevant degree preferable.

·

Practical applied experience in capital planning or closely related activities.

·

High level of knowledge and experience in the use of spreadsheets and databases.

·

Experience using SAP purchasing and project builder desirable.

Good experience and skill set in the use of Microsoft’s suite of office products

·

Highly organized, ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines

·

Ability to prepare and present updates and reports to persons with a wide cross section of cultures and business rolls

Flexible in work scheduling to accommodate meetings with sites from other time zones.

·

Support Capital Coordinator ensuring capital polies are met along with SOX requirements.

·

Co-ordinate the capital planning cycle including forecasting and tracking against budget & KPI’s

·

Update project spending forecasts, high level milestone scheduling, and progress for capital projects as submitted by plants.

·

Responsible for preparing capital reports and cost analysis on capital projects.

·

Review project requests for compliance with corporate polies

·

Assist with obtaining alignment between engineering and corporate management.

·

Assist with obtaining capital project schedule alignment with key business goals.

·

Deliver weekly and monthly capital planning reports.

·

Ensure that capital planning systems are set up and maintained in-line with business needs.

Periodically update project spending forecasts to reflect changes, progress and delivery dates.
