SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW

Call Center Agent is essential to the Customer Satisfaction metric used to determine if HCL remains a supplier to GM. The position entails talking to customers to solve issues related to dealer credits and other matters.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Solve customer problem via phone, fax, and email
  • Use computer to investigate issues
  • Look through paperwork to investigate problems
  • Create daily / weekly reports and timely submit to customer and Management
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Experience:
SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS (List specific skills required but not defined in Dimensions)

  • Great attitude
  • Ability to deal with unfriendly customers
  • Good speaking voice and diction
  • Ability to type
  • Knowledge of computer programs, email, internet, and fax
  • Some college preferred
  • Ability to adjust to plant / manufacturing environment
  • Learns quickly
  • Call center / customer service experience preferred
  • Impeccable attendance
