BEKO Technologies Corp is a manufacturer of all the ancillary components and system solutions associated with compressed air and gas and we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer.

The Mechanical Designer is to provide the product designs through drawings, specifications, and other related documents to the organization for manufacturing in Atlanta. These designs represent compressed air treatment products and systems such as filters, membrane purifiers, drains, refrigeration dryers, desiccant dryers, separators, instrumentation and many other devices.

Area of Responsibility

  • Provide documentation, including, but not limited to, Bills of Materials, Manufacturing and Sales drawings.
  • Support of Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality and Product Support.
  • Comply with and ensure department compliance with company health, safety and environmental policies.
  • Develops design drawings to fulfill technical objectives consistent with established guidelines, customer requirements and design specifications. Provides input to alternative product and system designs as required.
  • Processes Engineering Change Orders per Engineering Change Order procedures.
  • Communicates technical designs through drawings, specifications and other related documents to manufacturing, purchasing, vendors and customers for appropriate implementation.
  • Participates in planning and scheduling of design and drafting projects.

Job requirements and necessary skills:

Technical Competencies:

  • Two to five years of progressive experience in CAD design using up-to-date software tools and technology or an equivalent gained through a combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity/Understanding of metal fabrication/welding processes.
  • Pipe routing & frame construction thru 3-d cad design is a must
  • Proficiency in 2-D & 3-D CAD; AutoCAD, Solidworks, preferred.
  • Familiarity with New Product Development and Engineering Change Management processes.
