Business Systems Analyst/Project Manager

Our Professional Services team is currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst/Project Manager to deliver innovative solutions to our client in Salt Lake City, UT.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts. Utilize accepted project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Assist with analyzing and determining business needs and establishing system requirements
  • Create and manage the plan for work teams to develop and implement application systems
  • Address and document business/functional/technical requirements, dynamic technologies, priorities and targeted schedule dates and timelines
  • Participate in design, development, and implementation of solutions to system’s needs
  • Serve as liaison between business user, vendor and IT
  • Planning and management of deployment of information systems
  • Plan and coordinate end-user testing activities and design testing strategies to provide data for analyses and evaluation
  • Prepare, analyze, and provide reports for management review of systems applications, cost benefit analysis, program effectiveness, and other studies
  • Ensure data integrity, maintain systems security and standards, and compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Implement appropriate QA and QI metrics to foster continued quality improvement
  • Participate in development of service level and operational level agreements
  • Facilitate program improvements and learnings
  • Assist with technological and operational learning needs assessment, training requirements
  • Align systems and processes to organizational standards
  • Develop technical and operational policies and procedures as related to systems implementation
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all company and client information
  • Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job
  • Keep work area neat and clean
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 3 years’ experience in information systems – Experience with Microsoft Technologies (SQL Server, .NET, Windows)
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to operate a PC and communications equipment
  • Equipment: Personal computers and software tools
  • Other: Flexible work schedule; work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, may be required

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of SQL Query language
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong working knowledge of project management and process tracking software
  • Knowledge of development process methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of client server technology
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and other databases and multi-media presentation applications
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced technical and system analysis skills and aptitude
  • Sound judgment and decision making abilities
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Multi-tasking with the ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently
