Business Systems Analyst / Programmer

Perma-Pipe, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of specialty prefabricated and pre-insulated piping systems and leak detection monitoring products, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst/Programmer for our Niles, IL headquarters.

Main Responsibilities:

• Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the organization’s application systems.
• Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
• Troubleshoots and resolves business process issues and Business Systems.
• Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
• Creates and maintains Business Systems reports.
• Writes manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures.
• Provides technical support, guidance, and training to users.
• Documents Work and Project requests, new users, modifications to systems, resolutions to problems, and SOX controls.
• Manages and assists in the implementation of Business Systems Projects.
• Trains and remains current on software improvements utilized in company’s Business Systems and infrastructure
• Learns new tools and methods to support and enhance Business Systems
• Assists Network Managers and Business Systems Development Engineer in maintaining Business Systems for back-up and support.
• All other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate shall have the following qualifications:

• Five years’ minimum related experience
• Skills Required: MS SQL, Visual Studio 2013, MS Reporting Services, Infor Visual Enterprise ERP, Citrix, MS Server & MS Office tools.

Reports to Director of IT.
