Business Systems Analyst, Procure to Pay

Equinix Inc is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to be based out of Tampa, FL to help lead, develop, enhance, architect and support IT application capabilities. The successful candidate should have strong Enterprise applications IT skills with solid experience and a proven track record in different IT disciplines (applications, Onsite-offshore delivery model, Oracle ERP and complementary applications) to resolve complex issues.

Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides techno-functional expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. This role also involves working closely with procure to pay and Source to Contract business teams globally.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver and Manage IT solutions in areas of Procure to Pay and Source to Contract
• Contribute to building the IT applications roadmap.
• Manage the new development, and timely delivery of the projects using best practices
• Collaborate with various IT stakeholders and delivery functions as part of Global team
• Coordinate day-to-day IT activities and work closely with representatives from Operations, Finance, Legal ensure IT needs are met
• Work collaboratively across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels to drive results. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technology/engineering major
• 10 years of IT experience (business systems and end-user services experience)
• 7 years’ experience working in a High Tech, Telecom Industry domain
• 7 years strong knowledge about Finance and Supply Chain Processes
• 7 years hands-on knowledge of working on Oracle Applications ERP (R12 and beyond)

• Expert in the Source to Contract and Procure to Pay areas of supply chain (iExpense, iProcurement, Purchasing, Payables, basic Fixed Assets, GL flows / functionality, EBtax, AME, iSupplier)
• Working knowledge of Inventory, Receiving and logistics processes in Oracle Applications ERP
• Strong business acumen, Functional and Technical skills
• Strong IT project management skills with full software life cycle development experience.
• Should have worked in high-tech industry domains
• Experience in Team Management, Project Management
• Working Experience in US as well as in Onshore-Offshore model
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Strong experience in supporting financial month end close processes in Oracle Applications ERP (R12)
