What this Role Does:
The Business Analyst will serve as the front-line resource in managing and defining data requests and requirements for the DentaQuest enterprise. This person will support our Sales team and Clients by being a technical point of contact to set expectations, provide updates and drive implementations through to completion. Support IT goals and objectives by working closely with internal Scrum team members and Stakeholders to ensure integrations and implementations exceed Client expectations. Work within a distributed team (Mequon, Boston, Austin, Ireland) to document, prioritize, develop, test and release small to large scale EDI solutions with Clients located across the country.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards

Provide strategic analysis to define and improve standard solutions, standard deliverables and templates

Work with IT and business users to evaluate data and extract requests and recommend viable short and long term solutions

Ability to work on large and small scale projects for new business implementations and for maintaining existing client implementations with a significant focus on dental encounters, claims, eligibility and enrollment via 837, 835, 999, 277 EDI standards

Ability to document and maintain requirements using source to target maps, data dictionary, process documentation and team defined standards; using tools such as Visio, Word and Excel

Ability to perform ad hoc data analysis and reconciliation using complex SQL queries

Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies

Ensure data quality through scenario based testing Excellent organization and prioritization skills with strong ability to shift focus as necessary to meet deadlines

Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral and written communication skills

Ability to communicate technical details to technical and non-technical resources

Ability to facilitate a conference call, WebEx, in-person meeting with clients and internal team members

Knowledge of dental or medical insurance claims processing

Familiarity with appropriate handling of Personal Health Information (PHI) data Must have 2+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Data Analyst

Must have demonstrated progressive levels of responsibility, experience and leadership

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science / Engineering or related field preferred
