To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.

As our Business Operations Analyst, you’ll drive insights into actions by monitoring and understanding business operations that bring Nike’s innovative products to market. You will support the creation of tools, performance KPIs, best practices, root cause analysis/problem solving and insights to elevate performance while optimizing and maximizing order book health productivity. In partnership with the Seasonal Execution team, you’ll also support a sustainable performance management cycle to drive decision making to maximize service, revenue and margin. You will be responsible for providing quality, on-time relevant and accurate data, highlighting risks and opportunities, for internal and external stakeholders of the MPO team. You will provide analytical solutions to support business decisions and account teams by closely collaborating with Enterprise Data & Commercial Analytics and support the roll out of new analytics tools & solutions, providing training on when and how they should be used. Post roll out, you will provide the first line of support for these tools & solutions. We are looking for a strong team player who is a self-starter with strong communication and analytic skills.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
  • An additional 2 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Performance Management, Operations, S&OP, Finance or related experience preferred
  • Able to prepare results and communicate findings to Manager and/or business partners in order to support fact-based decision-making including risks, opportunities and/or return on investment
  • Prepare and communicate data effectively in both oral and written formats to a wide variety of users
  • Adds organizational value through medium-high level technical experience
  • Demonstrated experience creating reports and visual dashboard with industry leading business intelligence and analytics platforms (Cognos, Tableau, ThoughtSpot)
  • Some experience with database and SQL query development preferred (Snowflake, Teradata, SQL Server)
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to drive and implement process changes in a highly complex, multi-territory, multi-country business set-up
  • Ability to lead and influence both on site partners and those remotely located
  • Analytically strong, detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with problem-solving and resolving complex issues.
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently without a high amount of direction
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a culturally diverse group.
  • Experience with TM1/IXP helpful
