Business Intelligence Architect – Manager

Key Responsibilities

Key Skills and Experience

Skills

Can develop reports and dashboards in Tableau, MicroStrategy, BO, COGNOS, or other Merkle Supported BI tool

Basic SQL Skills working with SQL Server or some other open source or 3rd party cots Database server.

Can read a star schema and write SQL to derive a results set

Ability to multi-task and learn new tools quickly through both training and independent study

Experience

4+ years experience working with SDLC and/or Agile development process

2+ years experience defining or delivering requirement specifications for IT/BI solution delivery

5+ years prior experience developing BI reports using Tableau, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Cognos, or other relevant BI reporting tool

1+ year Experience leading or supporting client requirements workshops, JAD, or JRP sessions with clients

SQL Experience to conduct basic data analysis and use case analysis

1+ year experience working in marketing performance measurement

Other

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field or relevant professional experience
