Business Intelligence Financial Analyst

Summary of Position:
This person will apply technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support the finance team. This person demonstrates competencies in decision support and reporting through converting raw data into useful and actionable information. This person is responsible for compiling and analyzing data as well as for applying technical skills to the development and management of business intelligence applications.

Responsibilities:

• Identify Finance user requirements and deliver technology solutions that effectively and efficiently solve key challenges.
• Performs data mining and analytic functions of the data.
• Assist in business intelligence application development and technical support typically in a defined project
• Maintain, tests and integrates business intelligence application components
• Make recommendations towards the development of new processes or the reuse of existing processes
• Analyzes business requirements and translates those requirements into product designs
• Completes special projects as assigned
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, business or similar.
• Knowledge of SAP/Oracle
• Advanced knowledge of Excel functions and formula writing including lookups, custom calculations, if-and-or-logic, etc.
• BI Tool experience preferred (SSRS, Tableau)
• Ability to work with minimum supervision in carrying out job functions and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills: written and interpersonal
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task

Salary/Benefits

• $50,000 – 60,000
