Skills:

Bachelors degree in related field preferred. Requires 5-7 years experience in healthcare or relevant business operations. Decision making ability that shows a high degree of judgement significantly affecting multiple areas of the organization. May lead and direct the work of others. A certification in epic will be required within the first 18 months of hire

Summary:

Formulates and defines workflow, scope and objectives based on both business needs and an understanding of business systems and regulatory requirements. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify business applications. Use specific system and operational knowledge to support implementations of business applications including the ability to do the following; guide users in the best use of new functionality, investigate best practices with the new applications and functions, know the business of patient accounting well enough to perform all functions required in the system building process.

Responsibilities:

*Will act as a liason for the clinics.

*Assists with gathering information by coordinating with individual team members to produce team measurements, quality statistics and team improvement efforts.

*Acts as a liaison with internal constituencies to enhance PHS visibility and goodwill.

*Maintains involvement in localregional and national professional organizations and maintains a current knowledge of key trends in the healthcare environment. Responsible for maintaining an appropriate work environment to support the operation in accordance with external regulations and requirements.

*Supports all applications in use by the Business office with an expert knowledge in at least one of the applications and all business office functions that they support.

*Supports Business office management in the creation of procedures and functions to derive the greatest value from the applications supported.

*Perform the internal application control table build and modification process with an expert level of knowledge in at least one of the supported applications.

*Uses technical and application knowledge to create specifications for changes, new functionality, and report requests.

*Directly involved in planning and implementation of all system enhancements and tests all upgrades to Business systems in coordination with user support and signoff.

*Primary customer liaison for Business Systems problem support.

*Monitors Systems and analyze reports to ensure quality of the system.

*Create requested reports from system data using 4 GL tools.
