Business Analytics Lead Analyst – Express Scripts

The Business Analytics Lead Analyst has responsibility for supporting our B2B reporting applications. The core functions of this position will include understanding in detail how the application functions, authoring business requirements, creating and executing test plans, and resolving production issues.

This role also will require strong application testing knowledge as a core function of this position will be ensuring all applications enhancements and fixes are delivered without defects.

Essential Functions

Actively participate in Agile meetings and ceremonies

Understand the needs of reporting users (both internal and client users)

Translate user needs into clear business requirements

Perform testing of enhancements and maintenance features in QA and Production environments

Creating testing automation for functional and regression Testing

Create and execute queries through SQL to perform data validation

Assist in analysis of production issues to determine root cause

Provide support to users as needed

What you need to do the job:
Must be a current contractor with Express Scripts or Cigna

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Ability to work off-hours if needed to support release schedules

Ability to work cross-functionally with users and technology teams

Proven knowledge and experience with application testing methodologies

Extensive experience in creating Test Plans, Test Estimations, Test Scenarios, Test Data Preparation and Configuration

High level of knowledge with QA tools and applications writing and reviewing test scripts using Java and JavaScript

Experience in the Healthcare industry working with data domains in pharmacy, provider and medical claims

Ability to work in an Agile environment tracking projects through JIRA

Knowledge of SQL
