The Business Analyst Intern position is a great opportunity to learn leadership and new product development and business analyst skills. This position will work in partnership with Agile project managers, product owners and development teams.

Our Business Analyst internship is a paid position. You should plan for a 40-hour work week. Our team works in the office Monday thru Friday. We’d like you on-site especially 9 to 5(ish). The Summer Internship program will run from June 04, 2018 to July 27, 2018.

What are the basic requirements for applying to this internship?

Applicants should be strong communicators with an attention to detail and a drive to work with developers, product owners and project managers. Those who succeed tend to have an inquisitive nature and enjoy problem solving. This internship can provide great experience for those focusing on Business, MIS, and Computer Science.

The ideal candidate will have the following additional characteristics:

• Currently enrolled, rising Senior, in a post-secondary academic institution with significant coursework in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Ability to shadow Project Management and Product Owner staff in support of data gathering, reporting/analysis, and assessment projects.
• Good communicator (verbal and written)
• Familiarity with Project Management Processes/Lifecycle
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle within an Agile/Kanban environment
• Collaborative team player
• Prefer strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and/or Project
