Job Overview:
CIB provides comprehensive financial advisory and capital raising services to top corporations, financial institutions and governments worldwide. The Global Industrials Group provides tailored and unique solutions to leading industrial clients around the world, offering strategic and financial advisory services on a wide range of M&A transactions and capital-raising activities, including acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, financial restructurings, underwriting and distributing equity, debt and derivative securities. The Global Industrials Group focuses on clients in the following global sectors; Autos, Building Products, Chemicals, Diversified, Metals & Mining, Paper & Packaging and Transportation.

Currently CIB is looking for a Business Associate to join the team to provide support to the Global Industrials Group.

Key Responsibilities:Management Analysis and Reporting:
Perform market share analysis, including reconciliation across data providers

Analyze, interpret and present revenue data for Citi and our major competitors

Prepare weekly and monthly reports on revenue, market share and deal pipeline

Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for Group Leadership team

Work closely with client coverage teams to track progress of transactions and update revenue reporting system -Work closely with Business Manager and Group COO on business plans, annual budgets and forecasts, analysis of monthly/quarterly expense and headcount data for the Group

Validate and ensure data integrity within the client reporting structure

Focus on individual client plans, business and growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives

In conjunction with Business and Senior Management, prepare client coverage and priority segmentation reporting

Coordinate preparation of client invoicing

Ad-hoc projects as required

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a take charge individual with excellent interpersonal skills, accounting/analytical abilities, and the ability to interact and build long-term business relationships with all levels of professionals from around the globe. Must have strong organizational, project management and presentation skills and be able to work under pressure and multitask in a deadline driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and complete accuracy.

Candidate should possess:
1 to 2 years work experience in finance or business administration

Strong quantitative skills

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with VBA a plus

Experience with a Business Intelligence Tools (Business Objects and/or MicroStrategy)

Experience in investment banking industry a plus

BS in Accounting, Business Management or Finance
