The Business Analyst Intern will work closely with the Business Line VP/GM to improve product line reporting and performance metrics. The specific project is to review current practice across the business line, understand available data sources, recommend standard metrics, and work with the Product Management, Sales Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and IT teams to build a single baseline report that can then be replicated for each product line.

Job Responsibilities

With guidance from the VP/GM and Business Line Controller, the intern will be responsible for a single project to improve the product line reporting and metrics. Daily interaction with senior management of the business line, weekly project status reporting, and a final formal project results presentation to the senior staff will be required.

Requirements

• Enrollment within an accredited university or college program in a Finance or Business Analytics program course of study.
• Junior status or higher is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required, experience with SAP, Oracle, and other financial/database programs is a plus
• Some experience with standard business performance metrics through coursework is expected.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic foundational understanding of financial reporting, supply chains, market analysis, and business analytics is required
