Business Analyst – Entry

The US professional services team is looking for a qualified candidate interested in IT Business analysis, design and implementation for our decisioning platforms. The ideal candidate will contribute to the innovation, development and enhancement of technology products, applications, platforms, and data stores. Primary position responsibilities include serving as the product owner for an Agile/Scrum team building IT solutions for our strategic customers.

The Business Analyst will work on challenging responsibilities including:

• Assisting with and conducting discovery sessions with customers
• Agile requirements gathering
• User story development and elaboration
• Story Point Estimation
• Solution Delivery
• Functional quality assurance

Achieving these tasks will require an interest in technology and application development in addition to leveraging strong skill-sets in effective communication, qualitative and quantitative analysis and a detail-oriented focus. Through engagement of strong communication skills, you will be asked to serve as a liaison between client representatives and technical resources on your team, to design and deliver solutions to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Document all new or modified programs; produce reports
• Developing functional requirements in the form of Agile User Stories that satisfy client requirements.
• Collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to review and refine user stories.
• Actively participate in problem resolution; setting priorities when appropriate and escalating issues when needed.
• Assist with production deployment planning.
• Perform system validation. Assist clients with ongoing support for applications.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration with an interest in Technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Accomplished problem solving skills
