Business Analyst – DTCC

Main Accountabilities

Maintains Order-Entry Platforms in support of Straight-Through Processing for all Delaware Life business, (In-force and New Business).

Maintains relationships with BPO Provider, Order Entry Vendors, and Distribution Partners, to understand EDI/Connectivity requirements, and solutions

Works closely with Operational Relationship Manager to facilitate all Broker-Dealer Electronic and Ad-hoc Reporting Requests.

Works with business units to help define and document requirements prior to submitting change requests to BPO provider.

Maintains forms inventory, and facilities all form changes, both electronic and paper with BPO provider, fulfillment vendor, and Order Entry Platform vendors.

Represents Delaware Life at Industry Conferences, and remains current on all EDI/Connectivity functionality in the Marketplace.

Provide assistance and consults on EDI/Connectivity best practices with BPO Provider and Distribution partners.

Maintains external relationships with DTCC, NFS-National Financial and Pershing Trading Partners.

Liaisons with external business partners to facilitate DTCC service recovery efforts, on all NSCC/DST broker-dealer transmission files.

Supports all broker-dealer firm level report requests and electronic feed changes. (NSCC, DST, BIN Resolution, Test Files).

Coordinates the review of all related EDI training materials.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience, preferred.

Annuity Operations experience, preferred.

DTCC-Depository, Trust Clearing Corporation experience, preferred.

Requires business analysis and project management skills.

Candidate must be detail orientated, with an analytical approach.

Prior Operations, business system analysis experience preferred.

Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

Background in Operations/Financial Services experience preferred.

Good organizational, interpersonal and project planning skills required.
