As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Requirements:

    Business analysts serve as a critical link between end users and the implementation team. Therefore, it is important to find resources with the following skill set:

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Experience defining business requirements (e.g. process maps, use cases, etc.) for a software project
  • Understanding the Agile development process.
  • Comfort working with technology
  • Ability to solve complex problems analytically
  • Ability to do research and work with subject matter experts where necessary
  • Strong communication skills
  • Responsibilities:

    Business analysts typically complete the following responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions

  • Create high-level process flows

  • Document business rules, configuration requirements, data mappings, type list values, and layouts for forms and letters

  • Own and update user stories

  • Accept or coordinate acceptance of completed user stories on behalf of users

  • Update and groom the product backlog

  • Work with configuration and integration developers to ensure their designs and implementations meet the business requirements
