Primary Responsibilities

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and turning data into information designed to stimulate innovation and allow execution of our business initiatives. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing insight to the business through analysis of data to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of our operations and planning teams.
• Creating, maintaining, and supporting reference documents to support end users.
• Developing and executing report automation strategies.
• Contributing to complex and time-critical projects for team leaders by quickly understanding context and developing a prioritized approach for resolution.
• Developing data entry, process, and audit standards to ensure accurate data exits within the ERP system.
• Providing formal and informal education and training to diverse groups of users.
• Testing critical changes to our Oracle ERP database.
• Supporting data governance team and initiatives.
• Using and promoting continuous improvement systems and thinking in everyday work.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or similar field required.
• A equivalent combination of relevant experience and education will be considered
• Prior xperience in an analytical data analyst role
• SQL programming techniques a plus
• Oracle applications experience with emphasis in OPM: Oracle Process Management a plus,
• Proficiency in Excel: Spreadsheet formulas, Visual Basic, Macros
• Excellent Interpersonal communication, both written and verbal
• Experience working with large data sets
• Ability to reduce waste through smarter/faster data input for employees and information sharing via reports
• Problem solving ability, both individually and in a group setting
• Ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
