Business Analyst

The Digital Products team is transforming how people purchase automotive and energy products. Our team is composed of product managers, business analysts, UX designers, and full stack software engineers, working together to create elegant solutions to complex problems. As a Business Analyst you will engage with experienced cross functional teams to support and manage various project initiatives and help trouble shoot operational maintenance issues across integrated systems that support critical business functions. You will work closely with an internal cross functional team of analysts, project/program managers and business teams to understand business function, system behavior, test, troubleshoot and help identify resolution. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage online software development project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure
• Review, analyze system interaction, data issues and understand end to end process flow to identify and help resolve issues
• Liaison with different lines of business, software teams and the management to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation
• Responsible for co-ordinating QA UAT, regression testing of built functionality as part of the project life cycle
• Must have good knowledge on Agile concepts
• Must be self organized and very good with documenting process flows and data flow diagrams
• Regularly analyze key metrics impacting the velocity/performance of the team and produce and share status reports that highlight any issues/blockers
• Work closely with product managers to derive the product requirements and obtain management approvals
• Responsible for driving execution of projects, leading cross functional project meetings, conducting milestone reviews, present project status to the executive team and manage project builds globally

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/BA or greater and/or equivalent work experience
• Experience working with SCRUM
• Well organized mindset and process oriented
• 4+ years experience with business analysis and project management preferred,
• PMP certification preferred
• Strong documentation skills
• Strong facilitation skills
• Communicating clearly and concisely
• Working within an agile software engineering environment
• Ability to ask the right questions at the right time
• Evidence of exceptional ability
