Business Analyst

Job Description:
The CIDW Data Steward is responsible for data quality, data validations and data reconciliations for CIDW data. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring of rules assigned to a given product, escalating rule breaks to consumers and upstreams, communicating rule breaks or potential issues to consumers, and remediating any data incidents. The Data Steward is responsible to close any data quality KBE gaps by working with the consumers to implement controls that meet their needs. The Data Steward is a liaison between the Business and the Technology team; this requires knowledge of both processes to coordinate effective communication between both teams. This role is also responsible for coordinating all teams (consumer, provider, Technology) to work through possible solutions and prioritization of DQ items. The Data Steward is responsible to be knowledgeable of project release dates, assist in user interface testing for any changes and review the changes with down streams to determine impact. This role will be expected to help gather evidence and/or assist in any testing in the event of audit. Responsibilities also include frequent and detailed updates/metrics of work efforts, projects and timelines for management review. Other responsibilities include assisting in process improvement, streamlining and maturing CIDW Data Management Governance.

The Business Analyst is responsible for providing business metric and program analysis, report management, and project support at several different levels. The position requires the incumbent to have diverse administrative expertise and to oversee various policies, programs, and initiatives, to be able to think strategically, as well as perform in a proactive manner with limited supervision. The position also requires the individual to build and maintain relationships with field management, and work closely with other organizations within the LOB.

Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors Degree

4-5 years business analyst experience

Experience with data quality metrics and reporting

Knowledge of banking products

General ledger reconciliation experience

Ability to communicate with senior management

Advanced Excel and SQL skills
