Position Description:

Navicure’s Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for defining the business needs of the Navicure product lines while working directly with Development and Quality Assurance team members. The Business Analyst is also responsible for documenting those requirements and designs in an end-user reference material format. The Business Analyst serves as a source of knowledge for other departments in the company regarding Navicure product lines, and is an active member of an agile team.

The Business Analyst team is the link between the stakeholder community and the Agile teams in the Technology group, with the ultimate goal of achieving optimal client solutions. Utilizing business analysis techniques and tools, the BA team defines detailed requirements, using business and industry needs and applicable business systems as inputs.

The Business Analyst must understand business problems and opportunities and recommend solutions that enable clients to achieve their objectives.

Responsibilities:

Perform business analysis activities such as requirements analysis, use cases and business rules, and user interface and responsibility specifications
Actively seek ways to apply common sense approaches to meet strategic goals
Perform analysis and troubleshooting of issues and business user concerns to identify and correct root causes
Collaborate with stakeholders (internal clients) and project team members to clarify, detail and manage business requirements
Work on small to medium projects as well as independent Agile teams
Must be able to multi-task and set priorities and back other team members when required
Offer solutions when problems and/or opportunities are identified

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant work experience
Self-motivated with the ability to multitask, work independently, and work in a team setting
Willingness to learn new skills & tools
Comfortable with Excel
Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients
Problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, and time management abilities
Accountability and sound judgment
