As a Business Analyst Lead within Global Client Access, you will be part of the Information Management technology team responsible for Report Center (RC), Statement Center (SC), Enterprise Reporting Engine (ERE) and ACCESS Insight (AI) applications.
A Senior Business Analyst is expected to partner with the development teams, product managers, UI designers, and testers to document the requirements for delivering ACCESS treasury products that meet the clients’ information needs. The GCA Business Analyst Lead is responsible for developing a keen understanding of the product offering and the sources of the data, and then translating this knowledge into functional and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze impact of requested solutions and author user stories and other technical documentation as input to design and build activities
  • Work with appropriate parties to understand business and technology priorities, and advise on options, risks, and costs associated with requested efforts
  • Identify dependencies and coordinate with cross-impacted teams
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships within the team and across the organization
  • Conduct story refinement sessions; assist in ABC Workshops, sprint planning and backlog refinement sessions
  • Maintain project documentation on wiki, JIRA and other repositories
  • Identify and escalate issues, explore alternatives and propose solutions
  • Assist the Test team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test plans and conditions, and ensure that the proper testing is completed
  • Partner with Technology and Business PMs to provide required input to achieve project goals
  • Lead a small team of Business Systems Analysts and other resources as needed for selected projects
  • 5-10+ years experience working in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role working on custom development applications
  • Critical and analytical thinking
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work and research issues independently while sharing information with colleagues as needed
  • Ability to organize and manage shifting priorities and projects
  • Ability to maintain detail focus and retain big picture perspective
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments and organizations
  • Experience with software development methodologies and practices (SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Understanding of the treasury services business and core cash products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Management, Finance, or related discipline strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of cash management and EDI messaging formats (such as ANSI)
