The Business Management Analyst will join the MS Sector Pricing Organization and will provide proposal pricing support for a variety of new business and current contract change proposals. In this position, the candidate will develop, analyze, evaluate, coordinate, prepare and support Northrop Grumman cost proposals to government and international customers. Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing and understanding proposal specific requirements
• Working and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and functions (e.g., Material Pricing, Price/Cost Analysis, Global Supply Chain, Business Management, Capture, Contracts, etc.) to ensure common understanding of proposal objectives, and proposal schedule
• Actively participate in all aspects of the capture and proposal process (strategy, kick-off, pricing iterations, cost volume development, commitment approvals, final products) by:
• Attending proposal meetings
• Supporting the pricing strategy though (i) WBS, the CLIN/subCLIN pricing structure, and the proposal OBS development; (ii) Building the pricing model/structure
• Supporting the proposal development and preparation through: (i) Supporting the cost volume lead or lead pricer with the development of the cost volume; (ii) Supporting risk and opportunity assessments and quantification during the proposal process

Supporting post submittal activities including DCAA/DCMA audits, customer evaluation/fact-finding, and negotiations.

This position is based in either Huntsville, AL, or in the Northern VA/Baltimore area.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Bachelors Degree in Business/Mathematics or related area
  
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  
• Requires highly motivated self starter to enhance current team and support concurrent proposal assignments functioning in a time sensitive environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• GPA 3.8 or higher
  
• 1-2 years of work experience in the aerospace and defense industry
  
• Masters Degree in finance/accounting/mathematics/business
