Budget Analysis – RTAM

Budget Analysis supporting USMC Training and Education Capabilities Division – Range and Training Area Management.

EDUCATION: Accounting, Business Finance/Management degree required.

• 2 years experience in the accounting/finance field can be substituted for degree requirement.
• Military background or Government budget knowledge desired.

CLEARANCE: Able to acquire a Secret level security clearance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Work in Business Finance section
• Support development of the Program Objective Memorandum and Program Review
• Assist in technical, analytical and fiscal management efforts using PR Builder, SABRS, Wide-area-Workflow (WAWF) and the Program Budget Decision Database to the Business Operations Section with day-to-day financial activities, identifying potential accounting errors and submitting corrective actions
• Assist in the initiation, maintenance, and tracking of financial documents for financial activities and budget requirements
• Provide support for travel activities and budgeting for review in Defense Travel System and provide assistance with work-flows and system
• Provide support for human resources activities during hiring boards, training consolidation and other data calls in the form of meeting minutes and preparation of hiring packages for Government
• Provide assistance in researching accounting errors and provide recommendations on how to resolve the accounting errors in SABRS and PR builder
