Bridal consultant for upscale salon

My client, a prominent bridal boutique in Potomac, is looking for an experienced bridal salesperson. In this important role, you will be working directly with brides and their families by appointment, to assist them in finding their dream dress for their big day!

Qualified candidates will have:

• A sunny and upbeat personality

• A strong sense of style

• Experience selling specialty retail or luxury brand sales

• Understanding of a relationship-building sales approach

• Self-motivated (position is hourly plus commission based)

• Experience in custom order specialty sales a PLUS

• Bridal industry experience a PLUS

• Candidates must be able to stay cool under pressure and be extraordinary patient

Duties include but not limited to:

• Meeting with brides by appointment to help them select their bridal gown and accessories

• Following up with potential clients via phone and email

• Measuring the clients and designing custom changes on gowns per clients requests

• Greeting Clients

• Merchandising and organizing salon

• Steaming gowns

• Individual should be comfortable with basic computer skills

Coordinating designer trunk shows
