Brewery Sales Rep

Scenic Brewing Company is looking for a highly-motivated Field Sales Representative for the Cuyahoga County area of Ohio. The Salesperson is responsible for establishing the beer sales for our brewery in both on and off premise establishments. The Sales Representative will act as ambassador of our brand, will be responsible for executing our market strategy, achieving sales targets and growth goals, and promoting and educating the public on our brand. Applicant must be passionate about craft beer and knowledgeable of the brewing industry. Must be a team player and possess a positive attitude and an outgoing personality. This is a full-time position.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Daily sales calls to bars, restaurants, and liquor stores
• Achieve distribution goals by identifying and closing opportunities through communication and individual hand selling to targeted account.
• Grow sales with an eye towards long term partnerships not short term gains
• Create and maintain positive relationships with key account holders.
• Follow up at accounts to ensure our beers are properly labeled, represented, stored and served to our standards.
• Develop and implement marketing and brand awareness programs to support sales, including promotions, food pairings, tastings, merchandising, POS, and special events.
• Ability to work weekends and nights for festivals and tap takeovers.
• Deliver product to accounts weekly.
• Work independently to identify opportunities to expand company sales and increase brand exposure.
• Routinely visit accounts for proper merchandising with point of sale (POS) advertising; including set up and organization of displays.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A passion for craft beer.
• Two years of proven results in sales; at least 1 year industry experience.
• Availability to travel to areas outside of region as market expands.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a good driving record and have a reliable registered, insured personal vehicle and ability to drive.
• Ability to lift and move cases of beer (approximately 25 lbs) as well as move kegs ranging up to 150 lbs.
• Problem solving skills and desire to bring solutions to challenging business problems.
• Only highly self-motivated, organized, competitive, dedicated independent individuals need apply.
• Must live within 20 miles of the concentrated area.
