Brand & Product Manager (E-commerce + B2B Health Food, Teas, Herbs)

About the opportunity:

Mood & Mind (www.moodandmind.com), a health food, tea, and herbal supplement manufacturer, distributor, and direct to consumer e-commerce retailer is seeking qualified candidates for our Brand & Product Manager position.

About the position:

Although we’re needing a manager with strengths in the areas of brand and product management, this will be a “many hats” position and will serve as a top level general management role within our company. Being a company of currently ten people, a top level manager will end up being responsible for everything from human resource to calling the plumber to fix a leak.

We’re also needing strengths in the areas of creative, copy writing, digital marketing, social media, and anything to do with the perception of our company’s image and products. This position will end up being much more broad than just brand and product management, but that’s as accurate a title as any for the role.

Examples of duties:

– Maintain and develop everything related to our company’s image, products, and brands, including but not limited to, website and print product descriptions, images, social media, promotions, sales, etc.

– Research and implement competitive pricing for all products at both the retail and wholesale levels.

– Help with human resources as needed including hiring and coaching.

– Oversee customer service and administrative to ensure that all communication is consistent with our desired company image.

– Sourcing new products products from other manufacturers and seeking lower product and shipping costs.

– Contributing to the development of new company products and lines.

– Develop and implement sales, promotions, marketing and ad campaigns, pay per click, retargeting ads, strategic email marketing campaigns, etc.

Required experience: At least three years in a senior management position.
