Brand Marketing Specialist

EarthKind is looking for a Brand Marketing Specialist for either its Bismarck, North Dakota location or the Mooresville, North Carolina location.

This is an exempt, salaried, full-time position with competitive compensation, benefits, and a bonus.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Brand Marketing Specialist is responsible for the timely and impactful execution of marketing partnerships and campaigns that align with the overall marketing and business strategy, and delivery of consistent branding messages across platforms as the lead editor. These campaigns include social and editorial influencer partnerships, online and offline marketing initiatives, paid media content series and in-kind partnerships.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

Training

  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and/ or corresponding – Google Docs tools
  • Must be proficient at proofing and editing copy.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing, especially related to brand advertising, to creating advertising materials, to directing advertising communications and other related working experience.
  • 1-2 years project management and/or partnerships experience
  • eCommerce experience is preferred but not required

Availability

  • Ability to work off-hours, including weekends and travel 5% of time or more, if needed

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the Sales and Marketing Manager with the implementation of the marketing strategy, by assisting in tasks related to partnerships and initiatives.
  • Assist in the ideation and research of developing unique, creative campaigns and partnerships to drive brand awareness and consideration.
  • Develop strong and collaborative working relationships with key people responsible for execution (internally and externally), acquire all pertinent creative materials and obtain proper approvals.
  • Take ownership of the development of an efficient tracking system to help coordinate product sample fulfillment for multiple (PR) partnership requests.
  • Assist in the development of general and specific partnership/sponsorship pitch presentations to align with the overarching global marketing strategy.
  • Serve as a brand advocate, ambassador, guardian, and champion in communicating internally and externally to current and potential partners and teams.
  • Maintain and manage the implementation schedules and partnership yearly marketing calendar.
  • Monitor the implementation of marketing tactics by all partners and track the success of the campaigns by using measurable tools.
  • Submit briefs for various creative assets that are required for the execution of the partnership for both online and offline initiatives.
  • Assist in the facilitation of sweeps and contest initiatives.
  • Manage the partnership support email, analyzing and vetting incoming opportunities
