Brand Manager – Product Innovation

Indeed Hire is partnering with Community Coffee in the search for a Brand Manager to join their Product Innovation efforts. This role is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana – relocation benefits are provided.

We are searching for a Brand Manager-Product Innovation to assist with the development, planning, and activation of products through the entire product life cycle. This position will be tasked with optimizing profits while meeting marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with General Manager to develop and implement companywide product innovation strategy, portfolio optimization and ongoing innovation projects.
  • Manage product development, commercialization and launch introduction timelines in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Assists in executing new product development, commercialization and launch introduction in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Seeks opportunities to bring innovative solutions to meet changing business needs.
  • Assists in the development of new product launches to include business models or processes, new packaging formats, new innovative platforms and products.
  • Partners with sales organization and external vendors to understand market and customer needs and identifies new product and service offerings that deliver on those unmet needs.
  • Attends cross-functional meetings with SBU’s and GSD / CSD Marketing teams in development of new products, line extensions and LTO’s.
  • Seeks opportunities to bring innovative solutions to meet changing business needs.
  • Assists in the development of new product launches to include business models or processes, new packaging formats, new innovative platforms and products.
  • Partners with sales organization and external vendors to understand market and customer needs and identifies new product and service offerings that deliver on those unmet needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Marketing or related major and 5 years of applicable experience; MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing or related major, preferred
  • Beverage and Multi-channel (grocery, food service, E-Commerce) experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing custom consumer research initiatives to support brand strategy and innovation, preferred.
  • Experience managing projects, preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
