Bosch Charleston Co-Op Program – Fall 2017

Job Description

The Robert Bosch Corporation realizes the mutual benefit of developing college students over several work terms. Therefore, we are seeking to hire students who wish to work three or more terms at the Charleston facility. In return for loyalty, students will receive valuable training and increased work responsibilities throughout the program. At the Charleston, SC facility, Bosch designs and produces precision automotive components and systems sold to vehicle and power-train manufacturers worldwide. These include systems and components for gasoline & diesel injection and Anti-lock Braking Systems. We currently have 2200 employees in a team environment and in a three-shift, non-union plant. Facilities are modern and fully air conditioned with state of the art automated equipment.

We have an outstanding opportunities for students pursuing degrees in the following majors: Mechanical Engineering; Industrial Engineering; Logistics & Supply Chain; Business; Accounting; Finance; and Human Resources. Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a

Bachelors or Master’s degree in related discipline

Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

The following Core Competencies have been determined by the co-op coordinators to be the pillars for success for an entry-level employee in each respective discipline. It is not expected that students master each of the core competencies during their first rotation, but that they show an understanding of the principles and demonstrate that they possess the potential through future rotations to display and utilize each of the competencies listed.
