Bookkeeper (Fashion Cost Accounting)

Under the supervision of the Chief of Operations, this person is responsible for the bookkeeping and invoicing/payment schedule for the Development/Production Spectrum of the business. Accounting in the Fashion Industry a requirement.

Responsibilities include:

Bank deposits-Cheques preparation-Account Payable posting entries-Account Receivable posting entries-Bank/Account reconciliations-Various other accounting entries-Interest on optimizing work processes to ensure the efficiency of transaction processing, while seeking to minimize errors-Directly assisting the COO-Help in financial statements preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards-Preparation of various financial and operational analyses-overseeing all invoicing/payment for development and production as well as associated scheduling and costing-Data entry-Special projects or entities-*Knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks*

Experience:

• Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)
• Cost Accounting in the Fashion Industry: 3 years (Required)
