Big Data Intern

The Intern will be working as part of the Personal System Software Cloud organization.

We are creating magic connecting HP devices to the cloud, capturing a ton of analytics and providing insights to our customers.

What will you be working on:

• Apache Spark
• Amazon Web Services
• Redshift

Responsibilities:
Four-year university students who are working in a technical internship role at HP during their study or in summer

breaks between university semesters.

Qualities that make great candidates:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters in a technical field – , Computer Science, or equivalent
• Passionate, pragmatic problem solver with the ability to independently pursue solutions to complex problems
• Demonstrated experience developing software using Python, Spark
• Experience with Big Data is a big plus
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics in a clear and concise way
• Demonstrated experience with data analysis, either on a personal, school, or research project, is a strong plus

Education and Experience Required:
High School Degree 2nd Year of University completed-typically a technical degree specialization.
