Benefits Configuration Analyst

• Five or more years of experience in administration of health care benefits, polices and providing configuration support on Amisys, Facets, Metavance, or a similar system in a managed health care environment. Must possess working knowledge of claims processing, system development and testing experience.

Analyze, configure, test, implement and maintain AMISYS modules to support changes in benefit policies and procedures ensuring timely maintenance and updates of configuration.

• Test and configure new AMISYS releases and modules and related software products.
• Create and document functional designs for benefits, authorizations and/or projects to ensure accuracy of configuration completed.
• Research and respond to Service Forms in a prompt and timely manner and build configuration in Amisys as needed.
• Recommend and assist in drafting new and updated procedures to maximize the use of AMISYS and improve efficiency.
• Maintain pertinent departmental documentation on assigned projects and determine most effective methods to accomplish project goals. Keep Benefits Configuration Manager informed of issues and progress on projects.
• Train new staff on AMISYS modules and related software products. Act as a resource for questions and troubleshooting.
• Participate on internal and external committees and user groups in collaboration with manager. Keep manager informed of changes .
• Research and recommend methods to improve or implement necessary changes in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
