Bank Teller (Personal Banking Specialist)

21st Century Bank,a leading MN SBA Preferred Lender and an active community partner since 1917 have an excellent opportunity for an experienced FT Personal Banking Specialistto join our team at our Minneapolis Branch conveniently located in the North Loop/Warehouse district. (Corner of Washington and Hennepin Ave.)

This important role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our business and consumer banking customers, performing teller duties and responding to customer inquiries providing information regarding financial services.

Successful candidates will have:

• 1+ years related banking experience (i.e. teller, bank customer service specialist)
• Prefer previous experience handling business customer transactions.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively to meet customer needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be detail oriented with demonstrated the capacity to perform basic mathematical functions, i.e., add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fraction, and decimals.
• Proven ability to problem solve and make decisions to a customers’ satisfaction.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks to meet required deadlines effectively.
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office products and Outlook.
• High School diploma or GED required- Associate’s degree preferred.
