The main purpose of this position is to assist the Prudential Authority to achieve its mission to promote the soundness of the banking system and contribute to financial stability by analysing, evaluating and promoting effective risk management practices and ensuring adherence to the Banks Act 94 of 1990 (Banks Act) when supervising the designated banks.
