As a member of the Audit & Compliance organization, the successful candidate will conduct financial and/or operational audits by examining and verifying accounting, statistical, operational records, transactions, and/or procedures of internal organizations to determine the reliability and effectiveness of financial and control systems, material assets, liabilities, surplus, income, and expenditures. Auditing activities will be in support of Sarbanes-Oxley, Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement (DFARS), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and internal policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of audit programs, testing steps, and preparation of reports of findings and recommendations in the area of business practices, processes, and control procedures to management.

In addition to performing internal audits, the position also requires the successful candidate to interact with internal and external customers to support audits conducted by Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Corporate Internal Audit, and other various agencies as required.

Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree’s with 2 years related experience or at least 6 years related experience without a degree.
  • Auditing experience and/or expertise with government regulations (i.e., FAR, DFARS, CAS, Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)) and auditing standards
  • Microsoft Office experience with MS Word and Excel.

  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with general direction or as part of an audit team.
  • Effectively manages time and works well under deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple audits at the same time.
  • Certificate of Independent Internal Audit
  • Auditing experience and/or expertise in DFARS business systems, specifically Accounting, Estimating, and EVMS.
