Associate Tax Accountant – Entry Level

Devereaux, Kuhner & Co. LLP is looking for an associate accountant to join our firm at our San Francisco office.

We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment. Ideal applicants will have a well-rounded knowledge of accounting and tax principles, the required units to sit for the cpa exam, and are progressing towards obtaining CPA licensure. Applicants must also be committed to offering clients the highest level of service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Preparation of individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns

-Build strong relationships with clients while providing exceptional client service

-Be proficient in standard software such as Prosystems, BNA, Excel, QuickBooks

-Work effectively with team members

Requirements:

-Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university

-CPA license or progress toward CPA licensure

-Internship experience a plus

This position is full time with mandatory overtime hours during our two busy seasons (February 15- April 15 and Aug 15- October 15). Our office environment is friendly, collaborative, and social.
